Ardrox® 996PB is a visible light inspection penetrant that meets AMS 2644 Type 2 and EN ISO 3452 Part 2, Type II standards. It is removed using solvents. This penetrant is employed in non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects such as cracks, laps, cold shuts, porosity, bursts, and casting and welding discontinuities. Ardrox® 996PB is formulated with biodegradable surfactants and high flash point distillates, and it has low sulfur and halogen content.
