Glucopon® 625 UP is a 48 - 52% aqueous solution of alkyl polyglycosides based on natural fatty alcohols. Alkyl chains present are 12, 14 and 16 and the average alkyl chain is 12.8.

- Glucopon® 625 UP is well suited for laundry applications, where micellar solubilization, emulsification and detergency are required. These alkyl polyglucoside surfactants function as conventional non-ionic surfactants, but are easy to formulate because they do not exhibit a gel phase upon dilution. This product is soluble and stable in liquid formulations containing high levels of builders and electrolytes.
- Unlike typical nonionics, Glucopon® 625UP is highly soluble in concentrated electrolvte solutions and will hydrotrope other less soluble ingredients. In addition, Glucopon® 625UP is made from renewable raw materials, ex, glucose derived from corn, and fatty alcohols from coconut and palm kernel oils. Due to its natural chemistry, Glucopon® 625UP is very mild and readily biodegradable. In products such as liquid hand dish detergent, where high foaming and good detergency are required, Glucopon® 625 UP provides excellent performance coupled with outstanding mildness to skin.
- Glucopon® 625 UP alkyl polyglycoside surfactants are ideally suited for use in a variety of I&l liquid cleaning systems, especially laundry and hard surface applications. Caustic stability, builder compatibility, detergency and hydrotrope properties combine to offer the formulator greater flexibility and better cost performance.
- Glucopon® 625 UP surfactants modify the rheological properties of many particulate slurry systems, such as spray- dried detergents mixtures, and allow higher solids levels to be realized with lower viscosity profiles.

Storage temperature of <+40°C is recommended. BASF will endorse the results on the certificate of analysis for a period of two years from the date of manufacture for material in original, unopened, properly stored containers. Beyond 2 years, we recommend the quality of the material be confirmed prior to use, by retesting the certificate of analysis parameters. Please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product for instructions on safe and proper handling and disposal. When warming drums, BAS recommends not exceeding 120°F for more than 4 hours and the drums be single stacked while in the heating unit. If double stacking in the heating unit is absolutely necessary add a piece of ½* plywood between the pallets in the stack. We also recommend ensuring the drums do not overhang the pallet during heating or storage.
