Storage & Handling

Storage Condition
  • Sokalan® PA 25 CL PN should be stored in a dry place in its original sealed packaging. It is recommended to store Sokalan® PA 25 CL PN at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C.
  • It is advised to tightly seal every opened container, if they were only partly emptied.
  • The storage temperature must not exceed 60°C and should exceed 25°C only for a short period of time. Storage temperatures above 25°C will cause an increase of the color number.
  • Prolonged exposure to low temperatures (close to 0°C or below) may cause deposition of crystalline or formation of gels.
  • The homogenioue state is to be recovered by gentle heating to about 20°C up to 60°C and stirring.
  • Drums or containers that have soildfied should be reconstituted by gentle heating, preferably in a heating cabinet. The temperature must not be allowed to exceed 60°C. This also applies if drums are heated by external electrical elements. Internal electrical elements should not be used because of the localized anomalied in temperature that they cause.
  • To avoid discoloration, Sokalan® PA 25 CL PN must be blanketed with nitrogen if it is stored in heated tanks (up to 60°C) to prevent it from coming into contact with air. Constant, gentle stirring helps to prevent it being discolored as a result of prolonged contact with electrical elements or external heating coils.
  • Please refer to the latest Safety Data Sheet for detailed information on product safety.
