Sokalan® CP 10 is a dispersing ingredient that functions as a performance booster and is available as a fully neutralized version (pH approximately 8.5) in approximately 45% liquid form. This product finds applications in hard surface cleaning, food and beverage processing, food service and kitchen hygiene, commercial laundry, institutional cleaning and sanitation, and vehicle and transportation care.

Storage & Handling

Storage Condition
  1. Sokalan® CP 10 should be stored in a dry place in its original sealed packaging.
  2. It is advised to tightly seal every opened container, if they were only partly emptied.
  3. Usage, preferably, the total contents of a packing unit should be processed at once. If this is not possible, the material should be homogenized before further use.
  4. The storage temperature must not exceed 60°C and should exceed 25°C only for a short period of time Storage at temperatures exceeding 25°C for long periods can result in undesirable color increases.
  5. To avoid discoloration, Sokalan® CP 10 must be blanketed with nitrogen if it is stored in heated tanks (up to 60°C) to prevent it from coming into contact with air. Constant, gentle stirring helps to prevent it being discolored as a result of prolonged contact with electrical elements or external heating coils.

Shelf Life:
Provided, the product is stored properly and drums/containers are kept tightly sealed, it has a shelf life of at least 24 months in its original packaging.

Materials

The following materials can be used for handling and storage:
a) Stainless steel 1.4541 - AISI 321 (X6 CrNiTi 18-10)
b) Stainless steel 1.4571 - AISI 316 TI (X6 CrNiMoTi 17-12-2)
d) HDPE - high density polyethylene
e) LDPE - low density polyethylene
It is not recommended to store Sokalan® CP 10 in plain carbon steel, because this
would cause significant discoloration of the product within a short period of time.
