Foamaster® MO 2134 is a highly effective liquid defoamer that can be added at any stage in emulsion paint manufacture. It is especially effective in fine-particle resin emulsions, easily dispersible in paint, and based on mineral oil, a blend of mineral oils and non-ionic surfactants.

Foamaster® MO 2134 is designed for emulsion paints and adhesives.

Recommended Concentrations

A dosage of 0.2 – 0.5% calculated on total formulation is recommended for effective defoaming. The dosage can be increased to 1%. The defoamer is usually added as supplied at the beginning of the mixing cycle, thus ensuring thorough dispersion of the defoamer and complete de-airing of the pigment and fillers.

Storage Conditions

Foamaster® MO 2134 might form a slight sedimentation or phase separation during storage. The defoaming properties of Foamaster® MO 2134 are not affected, if the product is mixed thoroughly prior to use.
