Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment:
Inorganic pigments 10 % of oil absorption value
Oganic pigments 25 - 50 % of BET value
Carbon blacks 20 % of DBP absorption value
Dispex® Ultra PA 4560 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.
- Applications
Dispex® Ultra PA 4560 is, in combination with Dispex® Ultra PA 4503, suitable to formulate VOC-free tinting concentrates for both water- and solvent-based decorative paints. These concentrates have excellent compatibility and can therefore be incorporated by the use of low shear forces (shaking machines).
