- Applications
- Dispex® Ultra FA 4488 is recommended as dispersing and wetting agent for the formulation of VOC-free systems, particularly universal colorants.
- It has specifically been designed to be used in label-free colorants and paints which have to comply with eco-label standards.
- Dispex® Ultra FA 4488 proved particularly effective in systems formulated with difficult-to-use pre-dispersed pigments (e.g., some phthalocyanine blue or green shades).
- If used in universal colorants compatibility with solvent-based alkyd systems is significantly improved.

Storage & Handling
- Storage Information
Due to the high viscosity of Dispex® Ultra FA 4488, it is easier to handle when stored at room temperature. Temperatures below 15 °C could cause cloudiness and solidification, which is reversible upon heating.
