Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient:
Universal colorants, inorganic pigments 5.0 - 10.0 % on pigment weight
Universal colorants, organic pigments 10.0 - 20.0 % on pigment weight
Base paints 0.5 - 1.5 % on total base paint
Bentonites/thickeners 15.0 - 25.0 % on active substance
Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 can be incorporated into the mill base or used as a post additive.
- Applications
Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 is suitable for the formulation of universal colorants for decorative paints. Added to the (solvent- or water-based) base paint, Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 increases compatibility and color acceptance. Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 is an activator for bentonites as well as for associated and acrylic thickeners.
