Dispex® CX 4231 is an effective polymeric ammonium salt of a carboxylic acid copolymer. It is particularly effective for dispersing inorganic fillers and pigments in exterior paints, gloss paints and primers. Dispex® CX 4231 offers performance highlights such as :
- Reduced haze
- Pronounced hydrophobic character
- Reduced snail trails
- Reduced water uptake
- Recommended Concentrations
- Recommended dosages of Dispex® CX 4231 depend on the nature of the solids to be dispersed. In general the dosage is between 0.5 - 1.0%, calculated on the total formulation.
- In critical formulations it is possible to increase the dosage up to 2%.
