Elastopor® and Elastopir® provide an optimal blend of mechanical strength, physical properties, and thermal insulation when used in sandwich panels and insulation boards. Elastopor® serves as the core material in multi-layer construction elements, typically covered with diffusion-tight metal for use in industrial, refrigeration, and warehouse settings. These metal composite elements are produced using both continuous (double belt) and discontinuous (press) methods. In residential construction, Elastopor® is paired with flexible covers like aluminum foil or mineral fleece, making it ideal for pitched and flat roof insulation, as well as exterior wall and floor insulation.
