Lutropur

Lutropur® MSA is a high-purity, readily biodegradable, and less corrosive strong acid with a low vapor pressure and a high dissolving capacity on many scales. Lutropur® MSA has synergy with certain acids and also with Trilon® M (a chelating agent) on many scales. It is an excellent product for removing dye or pigment-type soils. Additionally, it is listed on the EPAs Safer Chemical Ingredients List.

Lutropur® MSA 100 is a product that contains methanesulfonic acid. It serves as an electroplating additive and neutralization agent/pH adjustment in various applications. It is odorless, colorless, readily biodegradable, and less corrosive, making it suitable for use in different industries. Additionally, it can be employed as a superplasticizer and esterification catalyst.

Lutropur® MSA-SP is a solution of methanesulfonic acid in water with an inhibition agent added. It serves as an electroplating additive as well as a neutralization agent and pH adjuster in metal-winning processes. It can be utilized in high-temperature applications and offers low levels of impurities. In addition, Lutropur® MSA-SP finds applications in superplasticizers and as an esterification catalyst.

Lutropur® MSA-XP is a form of methanesulfonic acid with a low water content. It serves as an electroplating additive, as well as in metal-winning processes and as a neutralization agent and pH adjuster. Its low water content offers benefits such as improved handling and lower transportation costs.
